    Default Behind closed doors

this is something I read from time to time it helps me get back into the shed thats where ive been for the last couple of days

"From Kaitaia in the north to Invercargill in the south, they're at it. Those unsung heroes burning the midnight oil (& mums housekeeping!) behind closed doors that hide the scene within.
Progress is all too often slow but year by year, month by month, week by week , stage by stage, the new vehicle takes shape. Rebuilt or built from scratch; hotrod, streetrod, street machine, or competition car it doesn't matter; all that concerns us is that the new cars keep emerging- without them the sport, hobby cannot flourish.
In the still of the night or the heat of the weekend can be heard the steady tap of the pannelbeaters hammer, the scream of the grinder, the zap of the welder, the stringof adjectives that flow when a bolt shears!
Wives and parents have their patience taken to the limit and the neighbours dismiss us as crazy for spending so much time and money on that old car,yet still we persevere till that momentous day when the vehicle is drivrn out from its resting place.
Garage rodders, the backbone of our love our sport our hobby

well , lets get to it lets get these old cars out there

(ps anyone got a heater its cold out there)
