Found, written on the inside of the passenger door.

"This car was built by Noel Taylor from New Plymouth Rodders in 9 weeks in 1985."

Anyone else with info on this car, please chime in here.

since we have a new member with an English car i decided to drag this thread back to the surface,

Yep.
Cool thread to dig up.

Not much progress on the Pop roadster.
Just collecting bits.
Have acquired a glass tilt front for it.
Also using the narrowed 10 bolt lsd I had for the morry.
A 4.5 litre dohc all Alloy Nissan V8 is going in it now.
Got some nice OZ mags for it.

Need to rebuild the chassis as it was not made for these modern times.. lol

Still kick myself for not buying it when it was on TM and placing it in storage but as cool as it is it would have had my rations cut for a long period of time look forward to the tread on it when you start the build. did you ever pick up that 20's roadster body you were telling me about?

I think that Pop used to be the blue one from Auckland. If it is Phil McGregor that use to trade as Unreal Rods and Restos that was in Papakure did the body work on it. I have a feeling it was owned by a member of Ooghar Rodders in Henderson. Another notable car that Phil did an amazing panel job on is Kevin Salters '30 Ford Coupe.

One is an Austin two door conversion with a Holden 6. The other a Standard.
Both for sale and there was a stock Model Y Ford Tudor body for sale as well,
shame i have no room in the shed!
