Oh you are so right Steve, but maybe people should go read the publishers podium AGAIN and be patient and wait for the investigation report to come out, instead of a FEW people on here pointing fingers at the system............somethings gone wrong somewhere obviously and unless you KNOW the facts, maybe people shouldn't make up bad scenarios.....................NOW go read the last few sentences in that article again.

Unfortunately, I think a modified (certified) vehicle being at fault in a fatal accident could rapidly become all our business.

Following the crash of the T/D Camaro at Masterton earlier this year, questions were asked about safety within the sport. The accident mentioned above will raise similar sorts of issues, except that a fatal is far worse for all involved.

No system is perfect, and it makes sense to use incidents like these as a point to review the system, to understand what (if anything) went wrong, and whether something can be changed for the better.

Almost 2 months since this one popped up. Any closure on it?
Seems like a damn good learning topic for all of us, is all. No point in conjecting any more and got up a few noses at the time, which is no way to look at it.

Paul, any news on this one????
